Christmas Cards as of 11/18/09

I was going to post all of my cards in the order they were made -- and I've actually got all of the pictures taken.  But renaming and organizing by date is really going s-l-o-w-l-y.   In the meantime, I've made some Christmas cards that I wanted to share.  Many of these are based on ideas from other stampers.  Some are actually my own design, but it's hard to keep which is which straight.

I made 25 cards of this design for a Christmas Card challenge issued by my Stampin' Up demo, Donna.
Here's a close up of a single card:

Here are some other Christmas cards I've made recently:  This one is called a Joy Fold Card.  The top one shows the card open; the bottom one is semi-closed to illustrate the construction.

This one is called an 'easel card'.  When closed, it lies flat.  When open, the front is propped open against a raised item - button, brad, or in this case - a stamped, cut-out image popped up with dimensionals.

Here's a card with a 'hole' punched in the cover.  Then, on the inside - the same shape in another color/designer paper.  The top picture shows the card kind of open.  The bottom one shows it closed.  I had to prop it closed with my scissors.

Here's a card that I definitely CASEd from the SCS website, I just can't remember who designed it.  I love its simple beauty.  Made it with the Petals a Plenty embossing folder, shimmed so that only some of the card got embossed.

And last (for today anyway) but not least, here is a card I made for Frieda, who loves angels.  She doesn't know it yet, but this is her Christmas card.
